The Virginia Piedmont
region is a fly angler's paradise. Whether you are after wild
brookies on a classic mountain stream or fiesty smallies on the
beautiful Rappahannock River, let us be your guide to the area's
best angling. We specialize in Rapphannock River float trips,
and other lesser known streams and rivers - some of Piedmont
Virginia's best kept secrets.
The Virginia Piedmont fishes best from
early March through mid-November. Successful anglers should be
flexible and be able to fish streamers, nymphs and dry
flies. Hatches of caddis, tricos, PMD's and BWO's are
prolific and terrestrials such as hoppers and ants can bring eager
fish to the surface. Large streamers thrown to riffles can
produce heart-stopping takes that may leave you with broken leaders
and burned stripping fingers - a true test for any angler and his or
her equipment.

Full day trips include
light refreshments and snacks throughout the day, and equipment
(rods & reels). We require all anglers to sign a waiver
release agreement prior to the trip.
A 50% deposit secures your reservation,
the balance is due 30 days prior to the trip date. Call the
shop for details on our refund/cancellation
policy.
Not included in the trip price:
licenses and optional gratuities for the guides. Prices are
subject to change without notice.
